About

Our small family farm invites you to camp in luxury under a canopy of redwoods. Located just 10 mins outside of Garberville in a redwood valley, we offer two glamping sites that have everything you need to enjoy nature in style. One of the sites is called The Orchard. You can drive your car right up to it. The other requires climbing stairs to the top of a hill. We call that one The Knoll. This page describes The Knoll. See my other listings to view more info on The Orchard site.

Good to know

The Knoll site features a carpeted 16 foot round tent with a queen size bed with all linens, pillows blankets, as well as a couch, coffee table, and solar powered lights both inside and outside. It has a small outdoor kitchenette with a 2-burner stove, pots, pans, coffee, tea, and a 5-gallon water dispenser. Enjoy your meals on a large outdoor table. Plates, glasses and cutlery are provided. There is a cooler, a compost bin for your food scraps, porta-potty service and a hand washing station. The porta-potty is at the bottom of the hill to the Knoll about 150 feet away. For showering, we have built you a gorgeous spiral outdoor shower. Please use it before you relax under the stars in our 5 person hot tub! Please note, the hot tub is shared. Please message us if you have any questions. We'd be happy to chat with you.

Neighborhood

If you’re a nature lover, Humboldt county has endless beauty to behold. It is home to the tallest trees on the planet. It boasts majestic cliffs overlooking the ocean. Crystal clear rivers and pebble beaches meander through its rolling hillsides. There are lagoons to kayak in, dunes and forests to hike in, rivers and beaches to swim in, and this luxurious Glamping site to relax in. We are 10 mins from the town of Garberville and the gorgeous Eel River. The river beaches are a great place to go swimming with kids. There is a community park also 10 mins away with a playground, farm animals, and many great trails through vineyards, woods and meadows. Please note, many local trails do not allow dogs.

Guest Access

Both tent sites are very private. You and the other campsite share an outdoor toilet and shower, as well as our hot tub. You are welcome to take walks on our property and to hang out by the creek. Our farm is located 10 mins outside of Garberville. It is easy to get to but you need your own car. Our drive way is a 2 mile dirt road in excellent condition. There is one steep hill that can be difficult for some 2WD cars to get up. If you have AWD or 4WD please use it so that you don't spin out on that hill. Also please don't stop while going uphill! If you have a low-clearance vehicle, you might want to drive a little off-center as the road has a little hump in the middle in some places.

Anna and Flo were extremely friendly and very helpful. They offered us an upgrade, but we were really excited to go to this space. It’s a little hike but well worth the work. Unbelievably quiet just what we were looking for for peace and serenity. 10 out of 10 highly recommend!!

Ernesto greeted us warmly upon arrival, gave us a fantastic tour of the property, and even helped carry our bags up to the campsite. I got a little turned around with the directions before arriving, and the host was very helpful and patient in guiding me to the spot. The site is up quite a few stairs, so I’d recommend packing things that are easy to carry or using luggage that’s easy to manage. Once we settled in, we found the kitchen had everything we needed, the tent was spotless, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The shower and bathroom were also very clean and well-kept. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful, and Ernesto shared a lot of great local river recommendations that made our trip even better. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and we’d happily return!

The host was wonderful and very kind. We were able to get in touch while driving to the property, and they warmly welcomed us at the door. The place was very clean and well maintained, making it perfect for families or couples. The host also gave us lots of helpful information, such as where to find the beach and what we should pay attention to during our stay. Highly recommended!

This was perfect get away in the woods. Can not recommend enough if you’re looking for a private glamping set up. Hot tub was excellent. Plus there’s a bonus cat that will come hang with you while you soak.

We loved our stay with Ana. She was so sweet and accommodating. We felt welcomed and we throughly enjoyed our time. It was so quiet and pretty. We felt like we were alone. We definitely recommend showering at night if the weather permits. Showering outside under the stars was amazing! Thank you, Ana! We’ll be back!

Absolutely beautiful location. It can be so difficult to find a place that so completely quiet and peaceful. No cars in the background, only silence mixed with quiet sounds of nature. I had total privacy and access to what I needed for a total retreat. The tent itself is cozy and I had no problem sleeping on the mattress pad and with the blankets provided. The space outside the tent is wide and open. Ana is very friendly, warm and welcoming.
